The Dad Bod trend took hold in the early part of 2015 and the Internet went wild. A young female university student (Mackenzie Pearson) wrote an essay describing the Dad Bod and why women are finding it strangely attractive. We say strangely because it goes against the norms of society so far. Men have always tried to stay firm and trim secure in the knowledge that women dig muscles and equate strength with manliness. We want that body and many of us will dedicate much time and effort to achieving it. Although it seems it may not be necessary. Women are not as repulsed by the soft muscled, pudgy look of the dad bod as we previously thought. The thought behind the look is that as men get older and more focused, they lose site of the self-absorbed gym mentality and branch out into more valid forms of novelty. The dad bod’s look is that of a toned guy who quit going to the gym about a month ago and now spends some of his free time throwing back a few beers and indulging in the occasional slice of pepperoni and cheese but also does some weight lifting and weight training at home. Dad bods are not over weight but lack the definition of a real muscle head. Use it to your advantage to draw the attention of a woman you’ve had your eye on.
The dad bod is not laden with rippling muscles implying a guy who only eats kale and shuns alcohol in place of an egg white smoothie. The dad bod is a nice regular guy that looks like he could take care of you in an emergency but probably wouldn’t win the title of Mr. Universe and that’s OK to most women. Unless they are just into fitness, most women want to date a regular guy with a regular body. The muscles and the dedication it takes to get them can be intimidating to the average person and that includes women. Use your dad bod to show women that your just a regular guy who likes to take care of himself but have fun too.
When a man and woman go on a date, its customary to tell her how lovely she looks and there is a reason for that. Women love to be told how attractive they are and have male attention lavished upon them. When they are out with a man who gets more attention than she does, it ruins the romantic feeling. In fact, it can end it. Women like to be the pretty ones in the relationship and go a long way to make sure they are. Women send a lot of time on their appearances and when their man shows them up it hurts. Use your dad bod to let her know she has no competition in you.
Cougars love dad bods. Perhaps it’s because men their own age are beyond the dad bod range and progressed steadily into granddad bod. If you date cougars you have a great chance of using that dad bod to your advantage. Cougars like dad bods because they are still in good shape while not rock hard and remain cuddly. Women do not like to be cuddled next to a rock hard mass of muscle. This is especially true when you date cougars because they are very affectionate women. There are a lot of benefits and advantages offered to those who dare to date cougars.
If you have a dad bod and your using any of the best sex buddy sites your already a few steps ahead of the game. People think you have to lie online. That could not be farther from the truth. Of course you can use creative photography but the best sex buddy sites have so many members who really do love the dad bod, lying isn’t necessary. The old adage that there is someone for everyone really seems true when it comes to some of the best sex buddy sites. There are people searching for all types of partners for all types of relationships. It may make it easier for guys with dad bods to use only headshots for pictures but that is a good idea anyway. When you feel more comfortable on the site you can post more full body shots and even show off that dad bod a little.
The dad bod really isn’t anything new. Women have been attracted to this male body type since the dawn of humanity but men have always placed a higher importance on looks than women. We assumed that appearance was as important to women as it is men when all along they don’t mind a few imperfections.
